These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Web2Markdown (https://web2markdown.pro). Web2Markdown is operated and provided by APPSOFTEA LTD. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Introduction and Acceptance
Web2Markdown provides a Chrome extension that converts web content into clean Markdown format, with options to copy, download, or save directly to Obsidian and Notion. By using the service, you understand and agree to comply with these Terms.
Web2Markdown reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated terms take effect immediately upon publication on the website. Your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you should discontinue use of the service immediately.
2. Account Registration and Eligibility
Using Web2Markdown requires creating a personal account. The platform does not support team accounts or shared accounts. You are responsible for safeguarding your login credentials and for all activity under your account.
There is no specific age requirement, but you must have the legal capacity and authorization to use the service in your jurisdiction.
You may delete your account at any time through account settings. Data may not be recoverable after deletion.
3. Service Description and Usage Rules
Web2Markdown provides web content to Markdown conversion, copy, download, and integration with Obsidian and Notion. The service uses a Freemium model: free users can access core features, while paid users unlock additional Pro features.
You agree to use the service only for lawful and legitimate purposes, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. Web2Markdown may adjust the service at any time, including adding, modifying, or removing features.
4. Payment and Subscription Policy
Web2Markdown offers monthly, yearly, and lifetime membership plans. All payments are securely processed by Stripe.
- Monthly and yearly plans: Auto-renew by default unless you cancel before renewal.
- Lifetime membership: One-time payment, no auto-renewal.
Monthly and yearly plans include a 7-day free trial. Lifetime membership does not include a trial period.
You should ensure your payment method is valid and can be charged.
5. Refund Policy and Account Termination
Refund requests arising from non-technical reasons — including but not limited to personal preferences, changes in external circumstances, or subjective judgments — are not eligible for refunds by default.
If technical issues prevent you from using the service normally and the issue is not resolved within a reasonable time, you may request a refund. All refund requests are manually reviewed within five business days.
In no event shall the refund amount exceed the total amount actually paid by the user.
You may cancel auto-renewal at any time from your account dashboard. Lifetime membership purchases are non-refundable once completed.
If a user violates these Terms, disrupts platform stability, or engages in malicious activity, Web2Markdown reserves the right to suspend or terminate their account.
6. Intellectual Property
All content, design, code, and branding of Web2Markdown are the intellectual property of APPSOFTEA LTD.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse-engineer any part of the service without prior written consent.
Content you convert using Web2Markdown remains your own property. We do not claim any rights over your converted content.
7. Limitation of Liability
Web2Markdown is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, APPSOFTEA LTD shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of England and Wales.
